Why Not Me? The Inside Story of the Making and Unmaking of the Franken Presidency by Al Franken (No joke – you need to read this book, if only because it illustrates that even Franken doesn’t take his political ambitions seriously.)

On The Wealth of Nations by P.J. O’Rourke (a modern commentary on the seminal classic, from America’s foremost conservative-libertarian humorist and thinker — and no, the guy that draws “Mallard Fillmore” doesn’t count, because he’s neither funny nor thoughtful.)

And, in the “classics” area:

Anarchy, State, and Utopia by Robert Nozick, 1974 (I will continue to plug this book until the day I die.)
