I’m sitting right now in Room 602 of the Holiday Inn in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Needless to say, I am alone (and very much feeling my loneliness, hence my compulsion to share it with you). My flight home from London to Ottawa went off without a hitch, but my connecting flight to Dulles was cancelled, leaving me stranded here .
The kicker? Right now, there’s about a foot of snow on the ground, and the temperature is hovering at about -16 degrees.
The real kicker? Tonight, they’re getting two more feet of snow.
