Four Westboro Baptist Church members picketed at the George Washington University on Veterans’ Day, at Washington Circle. The GW Patriot organized a counter-protest for 7:30am on the opposite side of the circle. Several hundred students showed up, many with posters and/or wearing “I’m Gay for a Day” t-shirts that members of PKA fraternity designed and sold for the event.
