Sorry Huckabee fans, but we’ve tried a smooth-talker from Hope before and we fell for “compassionate conservatism” that wasn’t all that conservative too — fool us once, shame on you, but fool us twice, shame on us. I get concerned for our party when “Values Voters” matter more than fiscal and foreign policy voters.
